Academic Support

After School Programs

Youth Action Services, Inc’s After-School Program will operate Monday to Friday 2:30-6:30 to provide children with a safe environment where they can receive academic help, create, express themselves, and develop the tools to become young leaders.

Participation in our after-school program, will allow children to develop their social, emotional and intellectual competencies.

In addition, a snack and hot meal will be provided to all participants enrolled in our program. 

Youth Action Services, Inc’s After-School Program includes:

  • Academic Enrichment

    • STEM, tutoring sessions, computer literacy, homework & school project help

  • Recreation

    • Basketball, kickball, biking, soccer, & boxing

  • ART

    • Art-based activities, poetry, reading, photography, theatre, & dance

 

Summer Camp Program

Youth Action Services, Inc's Summer Day Camp will operate Monday to Friday 8:00am-6: 00 pm. Like our after-school program, we will provide children with tools in learning how to express themselves.

Our summer day camp provides a safe, fun and active environment in which children can develop new skills, self-esteem, and friendships.

With the help of partnerships, our summer day camp will offer:

  • Recreational activities such as tennis, soccer, basketball

  • Art-based activities such as dance, theatre, arts & crafts
